Configure your bot

Configure your bot

Configuring your chatbot is mostly straightforward. You have the flexibility to adjust various messages, placeholders, and styles to fit your needs.

Suggested Questions

We suggest including your most frequently asked questions in this section. Each question consists of a label, which appears as a button, and question text, which is sent to the chatbot once the label button is clicked.

It's not possible to write a predefined answer directly; instead, your bot will search for the answer in its knowledge base. To facilitate this, you can add text content to your sources that contains the exact answer to the question. While creating a single "FAQ" document with multiple questions and answers is recommended for better organization, it's not mandatory. You may also create multiple short text articles if preferred.

Prompt Modifier

The prompt modifier allows you to provide additional instructions to the chatbot. Examples include: "Respond in French", "Respond in a friendly way", or "Add a joke to all messages".

Fallback Message & Fallback Action

The fallback message is what your bot will respond with when it cannot find an answer.

Additionally, you can configure a fallback action. Typically, this could be a button that opens live chat. However, you also have the option to add a URL, email, phone number, open a search bar, or even execute a custom JavaScript function.

GPT Models

Our default recommendation is the GPT-3.5 model. For most applications, GPT-3.5 delivers exceptional performance with greater speed compared to its successor, GPT-4. Opt for GPT-4 only if there's a clear requirement for its advanced capabilities.
